On this page, you'll find specific admissions qualifications for each of our online programs. They can differ for each program, so please study them carefully to make sure you meet the requirements. RN to BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

To be considered for admission, candidates must have the following:

An AD or a diploma in Nursing
A GPA of 2.5 or above
A current RN license
Proof of malpractice insurance

Master of Science in Nursing

To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

A current RN license
Have a bachelor's degree (in nursing or another area) with at least a 3.0 GPA
Resume´
Statement of professional goals
Two letters of recommendation
Proof of malpractice insurance

RN to MSN

To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

A current RN license
Have a bachelor's degree (in nursing or another area) with at least a 3.0 GPA
Resume´
Statement of professional goals
Two letters of recommendation
Proof of malpractice insurance

MBA

To be considered for the MBA programs, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Hold a bachelor's degree (in any academic discipline) from a regionally accredited college or university
Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
GMAT score:
- For applicants with two or more years of professional work experience, a minimum GMAT score of 400 is required
- For applicants with less than two years of work experience, the minimum score is 500
- For applicants with five or more years of experience, graduate degree or advanced certifications, a GMAT waiver may be considered

Master of Science in Applied Psychology

To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

Hold a bachelor's degree (in any academic discipline) from a regionally accredited college or university
Statement of professional goals: why you wish to pursue the Master of Science in Applied Psychology at Sacred Heart University
Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
Two letters of recommendation
GRE scores are not required but are recommended as additional evidence of eligibility
